Certification PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner

The PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner certification is designed to help professionals deliver projects in an agile manner by adapting the PRINCE2® management controls to a wide range of agile delivery techniques and frameworks. The PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner training teaches you how to combine structure, governance, and control with agile methods, techniques, and approaches. The Practitioner level puts into practice the knowledge gained at the Foundation level through real-life examples.

The certification will help you to:

Clearly and thoroughly understand the governance requirements of PRINCE2®.

Gain a deep understanding of agile concepts and techniques, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Start-up, and Cynefin.
Explore the dependencies between PRINCE2® and agile ways of working.

Prerequisites

To take the PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner exam, you must provide evidence of having passed one of the following exams:

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation, PRINCE2® 6e édition (Foundation or Practitioner)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP)
IPMA Niveau A, IPMA Niveau B, IPMA Niveau C, IPMA Niveau D
Project Management Qualification (PMQ), Project Professional Qualification (PPQ)

Next steps

There is no PRINCE2® certification higher than PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner, however, we recommend continuing your journey by taking one of the following certifications:

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)

Recertification

All applicants with Prince2® certifications will be required to renew within three years of the original certification date

For example

If you are certified before June 30, 2020: you have until July 1, 2023 to renew your certification, regardless of the initial award date.
If you are certified before June 30, 2020: you have until July 1, 2023 to renew your certification, regardless of the initial award date.

How to renew your certification?

By retaking the same exam before the renewal date
By taking other courses or passing other Prince2® certifications (Agile, Practitioner, etc.) before the renewal date
